What began as a celebration for Coach Fruth's 80th birthday has turned into a scholarship fund in memory of his and Sharon's daughter, Dawn. We can't thank the community enough for their full support in efforts to help Wauseon graduates pursue a future in education. Every dollar counts as students pool together financial resources to attend college. Can we count on YOUR help?

Jaley will be attending Mount Vernon Nazarene University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. A scholar volleyball player and a Girls Christian Fellowship member at WHS, Jaley wants to pursue a teaching position and become a "life-changer" for her students. She stresses the importance of kids never feeling lonely or misunderstood, as well as helping them get through difficult periods of their lives while also teaching them teamwork , compassion and leadership. I think we can agree that having a teacher with those qualities will be a tremendous asset to any classroom. Congrats Jaley!
